Greg Womble is a Birmingham, Ala.-based writer whose background includes theatre, television, film, radio and new media. VISITOR TO VIRGIN PINES, a short film he wrote and directed, was accepted into the Sidewalk Moving Picture Festival for 2013.

Greg is co-writer of DANG THAT DAGMAR!, a feature film scheduled for production in 2014. He is currently co-writing episodes for two television comedies in development with creator Kevin Gieb: A DRIVING FOOL and A FINE AND PLEASANT MISERY, based on the books of best-selling author Patrick McManus.

Greg’s writing credits for TV and DVD documentary projects include HOW LOVE WORKS, about a hospital in the Appalachian Mountains, and SCIENCE AND THE GOD QUESTION for a national religious think tank.

Greg worked on a team of writers to create episodes of the syndicated THE UNIVERSE AND I for Kentucky Educational Television. He created and produced programs for public and commercial radio including BOB AND BOB’S RADIO RODEO, THE SCIENCE POLICE, CHRISTMAS RECOLLECTIONS OF ALABAMA, THE DON WILLIAMS STORY and others.
