New kid in town Daniel LaRusso befriends his apartment complex’s handyman and all-around karate genius, Mr. Miyagi. Good thing because Daniel’s new crush, Ali, has an unscrupulous bully of an ex-boyfriend who isn’t too happy about Daniel’s recent relocation. “The Karate Kid” gave us William Zabka, Bananarama's "Cruel Summer” and one of the most epic film montages of all time.
