This atmospheric slow-burn of a sci-fi story follows Will and Eva (“Hamilton’s” Leslie Odom Jr. and “Slumdog Millionaire’s” Freida Pinto), a couple struggling in the aftermath of a mysterious apocalyptic plague that kills women. While Will’s initial impulse is to quarantine Eva for as long as he can, she convinces him to take a chance and experience the outside world with her — even if it means facing the bands of hunters looking for surviving women. — Corey Craft
